International Student Application Process

STEP 1 – Download and Read Supporting Information

STEP 2 – Download and Complete Forms
Complete and sign the following forms and return them to Fiordland College in order for your application to be considered.
Application Form and Contract of Enrolment – Student and Parent must both sign this form

STEP 4 – Processing of Forms
If your application is successful, you will receive an Offer of a Place (which guarantees that accommodation will be arranged) and an Invoice for Fees. These are outlined in the Schedule of fees
If your application is not successful, you will be notified.
STEP 5 – Payment of Fees
Fees should be received one month prior to the arrival of the student. You should send the fees to:

The school will send you a Receipt for Fees.
STEP 6 – Apply for your Visa
Complete the “Application for Student Visa” form available here and attach 2 passport photographs of yourself. Take this form to the nearest Immigration New Zealand branch with:
- Student Visa Application Fee
- Passport or Certificate of Identity
- Offer of a Place (which includes the guarantee of accommodation)
- Receipt for Fees
- Airline tickets (as evidence of your travel arrangements)
- Financial guarantee
- Local Police clearance (if aged 17 or over)
- School Report and Attendance Records
STEP 7 – Advise Us
Advise the College of the date, time and flight number of your arrival, at least 2 weeks beforehand, so that we can meet the plane and ensure a warm welcome.
